Developed since 1987, PRO is the ultimate British and Irish horse racing studio for serious horse racing fans.PRO's database, which includes all British and Irish results since 2001, resides on your PC's hard-disk so you can study form at high speed off-line!
Ratings are not everything. PRO's in-depth race analysis shows you what's important for each race in question.
Returning profits from horse racing is all about odds. PRO generates statistical odds against each runner winning based on at least the last 10 years racing results.
PRO lets you delve deep into the form and easily scrutinise previous and subsequent performances of all runners in each result.
Please use the menu on the left to learn more about PRO.
Race LibraryLists all scheduled races in Britain and Ireland for the next 5 days and early closers.
Alerts
Races which include your system qualifiers, your notes, matched or unmatched bets are indicated (to the left of races).
Options
Options allow you to exclude certain race-codes, race-types or meetings from the library. Races are (optionally) coloured by race-code.
Goings
Advance goings are provided and updated daily but can be edited by race, by meeting or by meeting and race-code.
Horse SearchLook up any horse which raced under rules in the UK or Ireland since 2001.
Horse Profiles
Profiles include form history and performances are summarised and graphically represented by ratings or efficiency for many conditions right down to the level of the run-in.
Navigation
Navigation from runner to runner and result to result is fast and easy and a GO BACK button prevents you from getting lost.
Notes
Save your own notes for any course, any horse, or any result.
RatingsRatings are scaled 0-140 for Flat/AW racing and 0-175 for National Hunt.
Form-Array
The form-array (top right) displays DataForm speed and handicap ratings, official ratings, your own private speed and handicap ratings, adjusted or unadjusted for all runners at the same time.
Result Closeups
Clicking on any rating in the Form-Array or on form-lines displays the result close up with collateral form highlighted.
Collateral Form Summaries
Collateral form summaries are displayed to the right of form-lines and show you how much better or worse off each runner is at today's weights.
Future Form
PRO checks the subsequent performances of all runners raced against and shows you how many winners came out of each race (FuW) and future ratings comparisons (FuR).
Race AnalysisPRO summarises and compares the form of all runners and highlights all the positives and negatives focusing on the most significant data for each race in question based on at least the last 10 years results.
Trainers and Jockeys
PRO can display trainer and jockey performance stats for the last 12 months at all courses, for the last 5 years at the course and for user-definable periods (last 1 to 99 days) by win strike-rate or by efficiency.
Filtering
Form can be filtered / highlighted and graphically represented by ratings or efficiency.
Zoom In
Click on any runner, result, trainer, jockey or course to zoom in to detail.
Betfair InterfacePRO connects dierectly to the Betfair Betting Exchange giving you fast, hassle-free betting, Win or Place, Back or Lay, even in running.
Dutch
Select as many runners as you like and you'll be presented with all the necessary stakes at current odds to return your required profit regardless of which selected runner wins.
Balance
Same as Betfair's Cash Out option.
Auto-Submit
Automatically submits required bets when a pre-defined required profit can be achieved. Anticipate - Increases the chances of matching bets, especially in-running. One Click Betting - Submits bets with a single click. Persist - Unmatched bets remain on the market even after the race turns 'in-play'. Refresh Rate - Can be set from 1 second to 1 minute. Refresh Rate In-Play - Can be set from 1 second to 1 minute. Export - Exports Last Price Traded data with time-stamps to CSV files each time the market is refreshed. Silks - Displays jockeys' silks before runner names.
Private HandicapperDataForm handicap ratings can be edited in any displayed result or you can create your own Private Handicap.
Private Handicapper displays and graphically represents previous and subsequent ratings for all runners in each result. Select a rating for the winner and let PRO calculate ratings for all other runners according to your own (or our) Pounds Per Length and Weight For Age scales or edit ratings individually.
Private Speed Rater
Automatically calculates Standard Times and Speed Ratings according to your own (or our) Pounds Per Length, Allowance Per Furlong and Weight For Age scales.
Standard Times
Standard Times can be created automatically using DataForm handicap ratings or your own Private handicap ratings as a yardstick or can be edited and locked.
System Builder (Pro-Analyser)Test your theories on over 20 years racing results and 4 staking plans, Back or Lay, @ Industry SP or Betfair SP.
Criteria
Criteria can be as simple or as complex as you like. Choose from hundreds of meaningful variables and useful operators.
Results
Rich breakdowns of results are generated for a multitude of restrictions helping you to improve your system's criteria and produce better results.
Staking Plans
Plans include Level-Stake, Level-Return, Proportional and Percentage.
Qualifiers
Future qualifiers of your systems are indicated in PRO's Race-Library and Racecards when they run.
Data-Export (Pro-Export)Exports virtually any of the data stored in PRO's databases to comma-separated values (.CSV) files.
Racecard Exports
Racecards can be exported with or without pre-race data (form data) and analysis data.
Results Exports
Results can be exported with or without pre-race data (form data).
Other Exports
Horse history, Trainer history and Jockey history.
Data-Import
Imports ratings from external sources.

I have a range of systems running that are working well.. a whole days racecards can be done in no time at all. The ratings are really good and within the first 6 weeks of re-joining I had managed to cover my dataform subscription for the whole year and that was just with nominal stakes.. so I have effectively got Dataform for free for the rest of the year...YES!!!! what a result:-). I did have to spend some time working the software out but I knew this was essential and the effort was well worth it.. I am really happy with the software and it is easily worth every penny spent. I do not know how many hours you put into compiling everything that makes Dataform work but it really is an amazing piece of kit and I take my hat off to you good sir:-).

23/09/06 - Thanks very much for the latest changes - the version V8.2 is now the D.Bs. Hope others are telling you the same - I had a brilliant day today and spent about half the usual time I usually spend sorting them out. The selections made much quicker, easier to knock out the no-hopers (notes field brilliant and the coloured print outs just so good.) Three good winners at Market Rasen, two in Ireland, and (though am more of a national hunt fan than flat) two good priced winners out of three bets at Haydock. I made those bets simply because they were the only three races/horses outside of short prices that stood out) and the thing thats really exciting is the information in this format can only get better as the national hunt season gets going for real. Hooked. Bob.
09/09/06 - I have only just got going with the new Version 8 and VITAL EQUINE in the 2.35 at York today stood out like a sore thumb on the screen. It leapt out at me and said back me. And yes it won at 16/1. This upgrade to the software is a major step forward. Many congratulations on this refreshing new approach, I can see how it works so easily and can expect to bet with better confidence from now on.

14/07/05 - Sirs, Today is the first day I used this new software linked to betfair. So simple, does not confuse me, am able to view form with speed, am able to do dutching and then minimise any losses via Laying if required. This is a big plus.

I have been struggling with ******** *********** for 6 months now (slow, missing or corrupt data etc. on 3 different operating systems and no help from ***). In comparison, it was a breeze to use your software and to instantly find the best rated horses to select from.

03/10/16 - Since coming back to Dataform I am really pleased with the changes.. I love it and it is so user friendly. I have a range of systems running that are working well.. a whole days racecards can be done in no time at all. The ratings are really good and within the first 6 weeks of re-joining I had managed to cover my dataform subscription for the whole year and that was just with nominal stakes.. so I have effectively got Dataform for free for the rest of the year...YES!!!! what a result:-). I did have to spend some time working the software out but I knew this was essential and the effort was well worth it.. I am really happy with the software and it is easily worth every penny spent. I do not know how many hours you put into compiling everything that makes Dataform work but it really is an amazing piece of kit and I take my hat off to you good sir:-).
01/03/16 - I've been a DataForm subscriber for a year now and whilst it took me a little while to get to grips with certain aspects of the application it is now an integral, perhaps central, part of my form study and it is certainly my intention to extend my subscription for a further year once due. 23/09/06 - Thanks very much for the latest changes - the version V8.2 is now the D.Bs. Hope others are telling you the same - I had a brilliant day today and spent about half the usual time I usually spend sorting them out. The selections made much quicker, easier to knock out the no-hopers (notes field brilliant and the coloured print outs just so good.) Three good winners at Market Rasen, two in Ireland, and (though am more of a national hunt fan than flat) two good priced winners out of three bets at Haydock. I made those bets simply because they were the only three races/horses outside of short prices that stood out) and the thing thats really exciting is the information in this format can only get better as the national hunt season gets going for real. Hooked. Bob.
09/09/06 - I have only just got going with the new Version 8 and VITAL EQUINE in the 2.35 at York today stood out like a sore thumb on the screen. It leapt out at me and said back me. And yes it won at 16/1. This upgrade to the software is a major step forward. Many congratulations on this refreshing new approach, I can see how it works so easily and can expect to bet with better confidence from now on.

14/07/05 - Sirs, Today is the first day I used this new software linked to betfair. So simple, does not confuse me, am able to view form with speed, am able to do dutching and then minimise any losses via Laying if required. This is a big plus.
03/07/05 - You can be justly proud of what you have achieved with v5, the hard work has now got us a program that is truly phenomenal, to be able to get the odds, recalculate, choose a winner, place a bet, see the pot all from the interface is just too wonderful.
